Annelise (Lisa) Spinelli entered into rest Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 49. Daughter of Marge Gearing, she was born on December 16, 1970 in Tarrytown. She was the devoted mother to Ryan, Taylor, Alexis and Billy, and a loving wife to her husband, Bill Spinelli. Lisa was first and foremost a dedicated and loving daughter to Marge and Pete Gearing. Lisa worked for Dutchess BOCES, BETA Campus as a registered nurse. She previously worked at the Riverdale Senior Center in Riverdale. She was also a former director of nursing of Putnam Ridge Nursing Facility in Brewster, former RN with Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, former part-time nurse for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, and former RN with Westchester-Putnam visiting nurse service. In her spare time, she was a dedicated volunteer to the Town of Wappinger recreation department and the Hughsonville Fire District, serving as social member and deputy secretary / treasurer. In addition to her husband, four children and her parents, she is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Lisa and her daughter, Taylor, were dedicated volunteers with Compassionate Animal Rescue of Wappingers Falls and would regularly foster dogs in their home.
