An addition , those of us that accompanied Richard every "bitter" January to attend the Pro Life Rally in Washington DC,
will remember how fondly he looked after us all. We attended the rally every year following a 4:30 am Mass at Mount
Alvernia.
I was able to go for 25 or 30 years and then I was physically unable, but I know that Rich continued on for many more
years. When he could not physically handle the trip, he made sure that there was someone to take over. On these trips,
Rich was always protecting the rest of us. There are many stories.
Our thanks to Bill Dachtera for visiting Rich the night before Rich met the Lord, and saying the Rosary with him as we all
did many times at our Pro Life Society meetings.

Anita, what a wonderful quiet faithful woman. Anita and Rich were quite a team. Without the support of Anita, Rich could not have accomplished all the Pro Life work which he did. She was his strength at home, she was always there to back him up.
Anita was a faithful Catholic woman, wife and mother. I knew her as long as I knew Richard. She was always quiet and
supportive of her parish and her faith. They were a team and now they are a team once again.
My prayer is that they are already reunited and will be safe and "happy" with the Lord. The parish will have an "empty" feeling
without the Vanslambrouck family.
Thank you Dear Lord for allowing me to know and love Anita and her husband.
