Obituary of Howell K. Thomas

Howell Thomas, beloved husband of Carolyn Thomas, passed away on March 28, 2025. He was born on March 21, 1936 in Granville, New York, where he graduated from Granville High School in 1953. He then went on to graduate from Albany Business College in 1955 and worked at Central Hudson for the next 41 years, with a stint in the U.S. Army from 1958-1961. Howell was stationed in Italy with the Army Security Agency and was proud of his service. Howell married the love of his life in 1965 and they spent nearly 60 years together. Howell loved travelling to Italy, Aruba, the Bahamas, and Cape May, and very much enjoyed all of his winnings from the slot machines at Mohegan Sun. Howell is survived by his love, Carolyn (Biasotti), children; Richard, Lisa, and Steven (Heather). Pop-Pop was especially loved by his grandchildren; Jaime, Keith, Diane, Abigail, Shephard, Nicole, Charlie, and Lucy. Howell was also survived by his brothers; Donald (Betty), William (Sally), Philip, many nieces and nephews, and family friends Bill and Billy Jacobs. Howell was predeceased by his parents, Owen and Verna (Jones), brother Malcolm (June) and daughter-in-law, Kim. No service is planned.
