Obituary of Richard A. Wright

Richard A. Wright of Poughkeepsie, New York, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2025, at the age of 62.

Rich was born on March 17, 1963 in Manhattan, New York to John W. Wright and Evelyn Rico Wright. Rich worked as a pharmaceutical delivery driver for many years until he began his second career, 8 years ago, as a beloved employee of Open Systems Metro. Rich was a life-long Yankees fan and played in various recreation softball leagues across Dutchess County for over 25 years.

Rich was light-hearted, resilient, and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his brother, John, his sister, Lynn, his nephew, Brian, and Brian’s fiancée, Emily.
