Dear Ann, we were best friends for so many years. We shared a lot of happy times with your family and my family. Then later around with your husband and your wonderful three children. You and Michael visit me in Florida after the passing of my husband, only dear best friends do that. It hurst so much to know you are not there, but I do believe there is more love in seen a love one go that see them here in pain. Your memory and love will be always in my heart.
Rest in peace my dear and loving friend, until we meet again.

To my dear friend Anne Pelletier Roe. You will be greatly missed by everyone. I keep thinking of the memories that we had years ago. The laughs we had with the grandchildren, and your children. My heart is so broken, but I try to think of the good things, that we had. You were such a great friend to me, and I to you. This kind of friendship, will be hard to forget. I love you Anne, you will always be in my heart and my mind. All my love Debbie

I have many fond memories of Auntie Anne growing up in TN. Hers was always “the fun house” where all the kids wanted to be. I remember spending the night with my cousins there on the night our baby sister, Holly was born. Anne had us line up and play games to make predictions about whether the new baby would be a boy or a girl. Even at the young age of four, this stands out to me as a core childhood memory. I also remember sunny TN afternoons with MaB and Anne out in MaB’s yard. They’d be snapping beans, shucking corn, chatting and laughing the afternoon away while we played. The laughter and lessons are the things I remember most. There was one such afternoon when Anne sat me on her lap and showed me how to snap the beans. To this day, that satisfying ‘snap’ you hear when preparing fresh green beans takes me back to the carefree happiness of my childhood. Although I didn’t get to know her as an adult, Auntie Anne still had a profound impact on my life. I remember her children (my cousins) being some of my best friends as a young child. I also remember always feeling safe in her presence. Most of all, I remember her laughter…so much laughter! Although I know she will be missed tremendously, I am comforted by how dearly loved and loving Anne was. Her life and legacy are an inspiration to me.
With Love and Sympathy,
Melanie Roe-Love (and family)
