Obituary of Anne Pellettiere-Roe
Anne Pellettiere-Roe, of Wappingers Falls, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on May 16, 2025.
Anne was born on January 26, 1946, in the Bronx, NY to Michael and Rita Pellettiere. She spent her early years in the Bronx before the family moved to Yonkers in 1963.
In 1972, Anne met the love of her life, Michael Roe. They were married on October 7, 1973 and shared 51 wonderful years together. Along with their children they lived in Tennessee and New York, where they finally settled in Wappingers Falls. Anne is survived by her husband Michael and their three children: Stacy Roe-Marshall (Tom), Renee Roe-Molinelli (Joe Franconi), and Scott Roe (Samantha). She was a proud Meme to eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Valeria), Aidan, Jayden, Annabelle, Gianna, Michael, Brenden, and Jacob. She welcomed Matteo, her first great grandchild this past year. Anne's devoted Cavapoo, Zoey, was her constant and loving companion.
Anne is also fondly remembered by her siblings: Terry Nuzzo (Sal), Angelo Pelletiere (predeceased by his wife, Debbie), Michael Pellettiere (Helen), Billy Pelletiere (Michele), Toni Pelletiere (predeceased by her life partner, Jerry), and Mickey Kelly (Marlene). She adored her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Anne’s greatest joy in life was her family. She gave her all to the people she loved, always putting others before herself. Her kindness, sense of humor, and strength touched everyone who knew her. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel like family, always opening her home with open arms and an open heart. Over the years, Anne formed lasting friendships, many being with neighbors and coworkers at Baby Togs, Lechmere, and Medicus, who became like family. She is predeceased by many close friends whose memories she treasured dearly.
“Though words can never truly capture all that she meant to us, we will always carry her spirit with us in the way we love, in the memories we cherish, and in the lives she shaped with such care and devotion. Her grandchildren will continue to carry forward her strength, and her love for life. Her radiant smile and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew her.”
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Anne’s life will be held on Friday, May 23rd at 2:00 pm at St. Mary’s Church in Wappingers Falls.
