To the Gilmore-Morris Family,
We are all so saddened over the loss of Lori. We both attended Dutchess Community College together back in the early 80's. Most recently in 2022 our Family called on Lori's professional knowledge to draft legal documents for my Mother. It really was nice to see her again. Truly a gifted and caring person who gave much more then she ever took. Wishing her entire Family peace and strength at this most difficult time. Please take care and God Bless.

Scott and Luke,
I will not be able to attend the services on Saturday since I will be out of the country. I want to tell you how terrific it has been to have worked with and gotten to know your mother. She made herself available to help anyone and everyone. She did it with a genuine interest in the people with whom she interacted. In the process, she brought a zest to DCC SOUTH and DCC@FISHKILL that will not be replaced. She was a story teller, and a very good one at that, but also a good listener. She helped countless people in so many ways. I miss seeing her come in to the office and suspect that feeling will continue for a long, long time. I know how proud she was of you. The memories that she left behind should give you strength as you continue to make her proud going forward.

Lori was the first person I met when I first moved to Pleasant Valley. Being the "new kid" in 10th grade, getting on the school bus with a bunch of kids I did not know was scary. Her words - "sit here" and I did. We became friends instantly. I am forever grateful for her kindness and friendship. We went our separate ways after high school but I will never forget her sweetness and ability to make me laugh every day.

Lori was the closing attorney when we bought our first house in 1998 .... I know I drove her crazy with my pesty phone calls before the closing, but she never got sharp with me (and she should have). I also knew Lori from her renting a space above the law firm that I worked for in the early 1990's. She would come down & chat with us secretaries - she was never snobbish, never standoffish, the way some lawyers can be. She got *me*, the shyest of the shy, to join legal groups and do things like PartyLite gatherings, with her enthusiastic "do this, it'll be great" attitude.
Although we lost touch over the years, I know what a great loss she is to her family, her friends and to her profession. I for one will certainly never forget Lori. Sending much sympathy to her family & friends.
