Gloria (“Toni”) J. Williams passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025 after a courageous battle with, as she would say, “too much shit to list.”

Gloria was born on December 12, 1949 to Abel and Norma Williams. Talk about a middle child, Gloria was the ninth of sixteen children. Predeceased by 5 (Arthur, Norma, Robert, Bonnie, Jo-Ann) and survived by 10 (Dorothy, Ronald, Leroy, Linda, Marlene, Diane, Beverly, Debra, Dennis, Denise), Gloria revered her family.

Gloria was a cook at the Red Shutter Inn and then became a caregiver to two girls that she adored – Marissa (Jerret) Cohen and Alana (Matt) DeFranco. She retired from the Gap Distribution Center in 2011.

Toni will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her potato salad and meatballs, and the love of her grandbabies. She always made sure everyone was fed and loved.

Gloria is survived by her only child, Tammy, her grandchildren Amanda (Stephanie, Sadie, Remi), Alexis (Winifred, Tabitha), and Austin (Kait, Jasper, Goose, Cheddar), and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service in Gloria’s honor will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Straub, Catalano, & Halvey Funeral Home in Wappingers Falls, NY.
