June H. Carr, a resident of Beacon, entered into rest Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 92.

Daughter of the late Harold and Etta Coy Hedges, she was born June 2, 1933 in New Paltz. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an administrative assistant for State Farm in Hyde Park. June kept busy, always having something to do. She was an avid bowler in her younger years. She enjoyed visiting the casino and could be found at almost any bingo game she could find.

Survivors include her son, Bill Carr and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by all her siblings.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Union Cemetery of Lloyd, 841 New Paltz Road, Highland, NY 12528.
