Peter Charles Baginski, age 82, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Yonkers, New York, on September 22, 1943, to Peter and Charlotte Baginski, Peter relocated to Cortlandt Manor in 1970, where he raised his family with his former wife, Marilyn.

In 1963, Peter proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served honorably until 1969. Following his military service, he began a long and dedicated career with United Parcel Service (UPS), where his strong work ethic and warm personality earned him the respect of colleagues and lifelong friendships. He retired in 1991.

Peter will be remembered for his quick wit, caring nature, and the ease with which he connected with everyone he met. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—visiting the casino, hunting for a good bargain, and most of all, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children: Bridget Gallaher (George), Kevin Baginski (Sharon), and Paul Baginski; his grandchildren: Christopher Gallaher, Amanda Barta (Michael), Fallyn Gallaher, Niklas Baginski, Sebastian Baginski, and Peyton Baginski; and his great-grandson Beckham Barta. He also leaves behind his brothers Richard Baginski (Denise) and Dennis Baginski, as well as his nieces Ashley and Alyse, and nephew Patrick.

Peter was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Charlotte Baginski, and his brother Donald Baginski. Peter’s legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

As he often said with a smile, “See you later, buddy.”
