Carol Manuli, 75, went to her heavenly home on October 29, 2025.  She was born in the Bronx to Mary (Cotro) and Carmelo Manuli, who predeceased her. A long time Dutchess County resident, Carol grew up in the Bronx surrounded by a loving extended family, including her beloved grandfather who taught Carol how to sew. For many years she attended and worked at Dutchess ARC.

Carol's brother, Ronald F. Manuli, has predeceased her. Carol is survived by her sister in law, Leslie McGilvray Manuli; her loving cousins, Susan Bordanaro and husband, Robert, and Joseph Coscia and wife, Helena. In addition, Carol is survived by her nephew, Christopher Bordanaro; her niece, Stephanie Achord and her husband, Randy, along with their children, Devin, Alexandra and Antonia; nephew, Gennaro Coscia and his wife, Emily, and their children Alisa Kate and Jamieson; nephew, Richard Coscia and wife, Jennifer, and their children Haleigh, Joseph and Enzo.

Carol is survived by numerous second cousins and their children, to whom she was very close. She is also survived by a large step family, which included several young children whom she adored.

Carol loved playing cards, board games, bingo, and watching old movies. In her young years, she did rug hooking and crafts. She took special pleasure in music, particularly listening to the Beatles and Italian singers. She traveled extensively with her mom, including visiting friends in Hawaii. 

Above all, Carol was happiest surrounded by her family, especially during the holidays which were filled with tradition, good food, and much laughter. 

Family will receive their friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Road in Poughkeepsie. Entombment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
