Darryl John Donahue, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park. He was 63.
Son of the late John J. and Frances Svec Donahue, he was born January 23, 1963 in Manhattan. Darryl worked as a chef locally most recently at The Dutchess Biercafe in Fishkill. Darryl enjoyed following sports and especially the New York Mets and New York Giants. He was an active member of AA where he mentored many on their journey.
Survivors include his siblings, Dawn Ward, Keith Donahue and Scott Donahue and his wife, Mimi Mamo as well as his niece, Ailla Ward.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25 at St. Mary’s Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will be in the spring at Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street in Wappingers Falls.
