He went on to build a long and respected career at IBM, where he worked as a Senior Technical Engineer until his retirement. Known for his sharp mind and steady work ethic, Jerry took great pride in solving complex problems and mastering new technologies.
A lifelong learner, Jerry was endlessly curious about how things worked. He loved reading technical books, tackling projects around the house, fixing things himself, gardening, and working on cars. If something could be repaired or improved, Jerry was determined to figure it out. His hands were rarely idle, and his mind was always engaged.
Jerry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Ann, who passed away in 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Nyree, and her husband, Brian, of New Milford, Connecticut. He was a devoted husband, father, and provider whose quiet strength, intelligence, and self-reliance left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
Jerry will be remembered for his inquisitive spirit, his technical brilliance, and his unwavering love for his family.
Services will be held at a later date.
