The bad news of your passing was like a spring thunder, sudden and unexpected.
I cried cause in my heart, I knew my life is to be deeply affected.
I waited your routine calls, and I knew you were expecting mine.
When years go by, how we let our friendship shine!
Born the youngest girl, yet life's hardship trained you strong, independent and kind.
As light clouds and gentle breeze, you kept misfortune behind.
Always in good spirits, friendly and never whined.
You said that taking good care of ourselves was the best gift to our children.
In our own way we have "motherly love" redefined.
You and I polished each other to be of like mind.
Sky was the limit, our golden years were relaxed, carefree, poetically inclined.
Your passion and consideration reached out wherever you went.
A bright sunshine,
You always said what you meant.
