Obituary of Nancy M. Dell'Olio

Nancy M. Dell'Olio Nancy M. Dell'Olio of Poughkeepsie entered into rest Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 79. Daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Sidote Natoli, she was born on May 10, 1929 in Poughkeepsie. She was married to Samuel Dell'Olio on May 15, 1994; Mr. Dell'Olio precedes her in death, passing on October 12, 1996. Mrs. Dell'Olio worked as a secretary for Fabric Care in Wappingers Falls for many years. She was a former member of the Italian Center in Poughkeepsie. In her spare time, she loved to knit and baby sit. She was also a parishioner of St. Martin dePorres Church in Poughkeepsie. Survivors include her grandchildren, Michael Perpetua, Jr. of Wappingers Falls, Mark Perpetua of Wappingers Falls, and Dana Van Benschoten and her husband, Jay of Poughkeepsie; and her great-granddaughters, Autumn and Rachel. In addition to her husband, Samuel, she is predeceased by her son, Michael Perpetua, Sr. and her daughter, Linda Galyon. Family will receive their friends on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin dePorres Church, Cedar Valley Road in Poughkeepsie. Interment will follow in in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy's name to The Children's Home, 10 Childrens Way, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
