Obituary of Michael David Albertson

Michael David Albertson, Sr. Michael David Albertson, Sr. of Hyde Park entered into rest Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 52. Son of the late Carl and Beverly Albertson, he was born June 18, 1956 in Poughkeepsie. Michael attended Poughkeepsie High School. He worked for Dyno Nobel, Inc. in Port Ewen, New York for fourteen years and previously worked for Wire-O-Corp in Poughkeepsie. He enjoyed re-building cars and race cars. Survivors include his son, Michael Albertson, Jr. of Poughkeepsie; his grandson, Michael Albertson, III; his brother, George Albertson and his wife, Sue; his nephew, Carl; niece, Lisa; and his dearest friend, who was like a mother to him, Josephine Sherow. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Wappingers Rural Cemetery Community Columbarium, Wappingers Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
