Obituary of Andria L. Humeston

Andria L. "Andy" Humeston Andria L. "Andy" Humeston, of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest, Sunday, April 19, 2009 at her home. She was 56. Daughter of Kenneth Hilmar, of Wappingers Falls, and the late Sally Worden Hilmar, she was born July 19, 1952 in Poughkeepsie. She married Roger G. Humeston, Jr. on May 1, 1976 in Hopewell Junction. Mr. Humeston survives at home. Andy worked as a Nanny for many years and later as a secretary for her husband's company; RGH Construction. Andy was a member of Deer Search and Hudson Valley Dachshund Association. She enjoyed baking and cooking and was known for her apple pies and fried chicken. Andy also liked to spend her time reading, going to ceramic classes and gardening. In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by her siblings, Marcie Mahnic and her husband, Bob of Deltona, Florida, Nancy Geysen and her husband, Kevin of Hopewell Junction and Marty Hilmar and his wife, Shari of Wappingers Falls; her father-in-law, Roger Humeston, Sr. of South Salem; her brother-in-law, Chip Humeston and his wife, Kelly of Boca Raton, Florida; her nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Jared, Kayla, Courtney, Katlin and Kyle; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by Tara and Nicole who were like daughters to her. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by a nephew, Justin. Family will receive their friends on Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, New York 12590.
