June and I send our warmest sympathy to the family he loved so very much. Peter was a roommate at Middlebury College. He was a dependable friend, warm, considerate, quiet, and a very hard worker. His love for Jan just shone through his comments of past and present days. His wedding gift to us was a recording (the only recording we received and thus more memorable) of Ravel and Debussy. Blessings to you all.

My deepest sympathies to all family members. Pete was an exceptional man and an exceptional neighbor, always with a kind word, genuine warmth and a great sense of humor. For me, East Hampton won't be the same without Pete.

I am shocked and saddened to see your Dad's obituary in the East Hampton Star today. We lived across the street from you on Copeces Lane. I, too, lost my mom, Cathy Lester, in November of 2005. Your Dad was ALWAYS in his garden and ALWAYS waved and shouted hello! He will be missed for sure. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. As Always..Love, Della

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Peter's death. I worked with him or for him for more than ten years on many projects including the IBM System 360. He was a great man with many skills and virtures: Honest, straight to the point, communicated clearly, fair to all and respected intelligence and hard work. We have lost a great friend. My condolences to his family and all who knew him.

Mr. Fagg was a good man and a very smart man. He always had a kind word and a smile for me. It was wonderful to read how full and involved his life was. My condolences to you, Chris, and to your family. I know your dad will be truly missed.

I was so shocked to hear. We were neighbors up to last year when we moved to Vermont. My daughter, Allyson stopped in to see Mr. Fagg when she visited in April. She always thought of him so fondly and he always fussed over her. He had a way of making everyone feel special. The visit we had with him around x-mas we bought our little dog in with us. He wanted Jan to see Talon to see if she would respond and smile. He was such a wonderful man and a great neighbor. He will be truly missed. We are so sorry to hear about your loss.

I'm sorry to read the news. I have fond memories of Mr. Fagg as our coach for Junior League baseball in the Town of Poughkeepsie. My condolences to Chris and family.
