Obituary of Lynne M. Malone

Lynne M. Malone Lynne Marie Malone of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Friday, August 21, 2009 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was 40. The daughter of Frank E. and Judith A. Stahn Darrow, she was born on March 25, 1969 at Putnam County Hospital in Carmel. She married William J. Malone III on October 28, 1995; Mr. Malone survives at home in Wappingers Falls. Lynne earned her education at Roy C. Ketcham High School, Dutchess Community College and finally, her bachelor degree at NYS University at New Paltz. During high school, she worked at Dairy Queen in Wappingers Falls. After graduation, she worked for PMC in the mortgage department. Once married with children, she spent her time raising her family and working as a lunch room monitor for Fishkill Plains School. She was also a member of the New Hackensack Reformed Church in Wappingers Falls. Lynne tried to meet each person with a smile and a happy thought. She truly enjoyed all of her family and friends from her childhood through adulthood. Her greatest joy was nurturing Ariana and Billy; they shared many memorable experiences. In addition to her husband, Bill and her parents, Frank and Judy, she is survived by her children, Ariana and Billy Malone; her brother, Ed Darrow and his wife, Sue; her parents-in-law, Bill and Kathy Malone; brother-in-law, Patrick Malone and his wife, Trisha; sister-in-law, Kelli Forrester and her husband, John; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive their friends on Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the New Hackensack Reformed Church, 1580 Route 376 in Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 4 p.m. at the church; Rev. Keith Tamlyn will officiate. Interment will take place Monday, August 24th at 10 a.m. at Wappingers Rural Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lynne's name to Miles of Hope, P.O.
