Obituary of David G. Guerrette

David G. Guerrette David G. Guerrette, a thirty-nine year resident of Dutchess County, entered into rest, Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie. He was 54. Son of Dorothy "Betty" Harper Guerrette of Fishkill and the late Guy Guerrette, he was born January 29, 1955 in El Paso, Texas. On June 10, 1978 in Millbrook, he married the former Susan Giacobbe. Mrs. Guerrette, a teacher with Wappingers Central School District, survives at home in Hopewell Junction. David was a self employed computer services consultant. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his daughters, Leah and Emily Guerrette both of Poughkeepsie; his sisters, Diane Carignan and her husband, Paul of Wappingers Falls, Julie Cunningham and her husband, Bruce of Poughkeepsie and Elaine Parrinello and her husband, Bob of Poughkeepsie; his father-in-law, Guy Giacobbe of Wappingers Falls; a granddaughter; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive their friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, South Avenue, Poughkeepsie.
