Obituary of Maryann G. Sacco

Maryann G. Sacco Maryann G. Sacco of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Monday, April 19, 2010 at home after a long illness. She was 73. Daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Schiffer Monahan, she was born on June 7, 1936. In her spare time, she loved to watch hockey and baseball on television. Maryann most recently worked as a bookkeeper for Bell Copiers in Hyde Park. Survivors include her children, Diane Sacco of Seattle, WA, Anthony Sacco of Wappingers Falls, Michelle Rios and her husband, Albert of Deer Park, Pat Sacco and his fianc�e, Erin Cummings of Deer Park, and Chris Sacco and his fianc�e, Christine Ramondo of Poughkeepsie; brothers, Bernard Monahan of Florida and Raymond Monahan of New Jersey; sister, Loretta Hammrel of Suffern; grandchildren, Jordan and Jaelyn; and several nieces and nephews. Maryann was predeceased by her brothers, James, John, Francis and Gus. Family will receive their friends on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 23 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Maryann's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
