Obituary of Kathleen A. Rogers

Kathleen A. Rogers Kathleen A. Rogers of Wappingers Falls went to be in God's keeping on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 54. Daughter of Barbara Bushee Rogers and the late Robert J. Rogers, she was born on September 28, 1955 in Poughkeepsie. She grew up in Wappingers Falls, always living in the same home. Kathy graduated from Wappingers Central School in 1974. She was married in 1974 to Esaul Torres. Kathy worked for IBM until 2008. Since then, she has worked as a hair stylist at The Cuttery and most recently, Heads Up Hair Salon in Poughkeepsie. In her free time, Kathy loved music and dancing, and doing work in her house. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her time spent with her grandson. She leaves to cherish her memory and kindness, her mother, Barbara Rogers of Wappingers Falls; her daughters, Angela Torres, Elisa Torres and Stacey Torres, all of Wappingers Falls; her beloved grandson, Michael J. Pallazzo, III; her brother, Robert J. Rogers of Wappingers Falls; her sister, Deborah Valentin and her husband, Carmelo of Poughkeepsie; a special friend, Robert Miller of Poughkeepsie; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many dear friends.
