Christopher vanZutphen Christopher vanZutphen of LaGrangeville entered into rest Thursday September 16, 2010 at home. He was 48. Son of Patricia Tate Stevens and the late Charles vanZutphen, he was born on February 1, 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chris worked for UPS in Poughkeepsie for many years. In his spare time he had a passion for photography, especially developing black and white. He loved farming and gardening. Chris especially loved just being with people. Survivors include his significant other of ten years, RJ Dominic at home in LaGrangeville; his mother, Patricia Stevens of Verbank; his brother, Charles vanZutphen and his wife, Suzanne of Pleasant Valley; his sister, Mary Hottenrott and her husband, Peter of Westmont, NJ; parents-in-law, Roland and Shirley Dominic of Ellenburg; brothers-in-law, Anthony Dominic and his wife, Brenda of Chateaugay, John Dominic and his wife, Lynne of Chateaugay, Shawn Dominic and his wife, Kim of Constable, and James Dominic and his wife, Lynn of Ellenburg; sister-in-law, Christine Rovito and her husband, Larry of Burke; and several nieces, nephews and beloved friends. In addition to his father Charles, he was predeceased by his brother, Thomas. Family will receive their friends on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Brainardsville Cemetery, Belmont New York.
