Obituary of Lisa M. Nelson-Stroman

Lisa M. Nelson-Stroman Lisa M. Nelson-Stroman, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 47. Daughter of Lillian Pennacchio Nelson of Attica, Michigan and the late Merton Nelson, she was born March 31, 1963 in Sharon, Connecticut. Prior to her retirement, Lisa worked as a Health Aide in Wassaic. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband and partner of twenty-nine years, Edward R. Stroman at home in Wappingers Falls; her daughters, Karlissa Stroman and Willie Wright of Poughkeepsie and Jessica Stroman and Kurian Hamilton of Wappingers Falls; her step-daughters, Carlotta Stroman, Luanna Stroman, Blondie Stroman, and Jetelene Stroman; her sisters, Wendy DiFalco of Milton and Laura Shore of Attica, Michigan; her brother, Jeffrey Nelson of Poughkeepsie; her twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her sister, Debra Nelson. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
