Obituary of Tanya Lee Shattuck-Williams

Tanya Lee Shattuck-Williams Tanya Lee Shattuck-Williams, a resident of Chatham, New York, entered into rest Monday, January 10, 2011 at Albany Medical Center. She was 28. Daughter of Bruce L. and Linda Massarelli Shattuck of Valatie, New York, she was born July 31, 1982 in Poughkeepsie. Tanya worked in the Health Care Field; she was known to give more to others than to herself. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend. She was an angel among us and will be truly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jason Williams of Stephentown, New York; her son Morghenlee; her step-daughters, Allison and Arianna; her sister, Theresa Bushnell-Bukowski; her paternal grandmother, Olive Maggio; her paternal grandfather, Richard Shattuck; her nephew, Robert Lee Fogg, Jr.; her nieces, Madison and McKenna Bukowski; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John and Lucy Massarelli; her uncles, Brent Shattuck and John "Bucky" Massarelli; aunts Marie Massarelli and Helen Massarelli and cousins, Shawna Massarelli and Sherri Anne Bate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2010 at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
