To the entire Rose family,
Bob Rose was a man among men. When I started work at Green Haven in 1972 I could tell that he was a leader and a man who knew what he was talking about. I spent numerous years working with him at GHCF and for him at Mid-Orange C.F. He was as well respected as any man I ever met in my 26 years in corrections and I know that God will have a special place in heaven for him. God bless him and may he rest in eternal peace.

There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. Mr. Rose was an amazing husband father and man. He took me under his wing as if I was part of the family. When I lost my Dad he watched over me, I will never forget any of the times I have spent with him and all of you. I loved him very much and so grateful that I was able to be part of his life in any way. He will be missed always but all that he was will live on in the amazing family he loved.

Mr. Rose was a man among men. A man who treated me as a father would his own son. A man who taught me countless life lessons and shaped the man I am today. I will keep my promise to always care for and provide for your little girl. I will miss you more than words can express Sir.

Dear Mrs. Rose and Family, Please know that I was very saddened about the news of Sgt. Rose passing. Barbara Bouffard informed me and I can say the following with honesty. He was one of the best Supervisors I ever had and one of the best men to ever walk the Tiers of any place he worked. I can here his voice calling me and telling me to do something. He just had that way about him. Whatever he asked you did it, no questions asked. Thats the kind of respect he commanded. He will have a spot in my heart forever, and if there is a place that men go to that worked the toughest job on this planet in Heaven he is going to be the Sergeant in charge. May he rest in peace, and take solace that he was a well respected man. Peace and God Bless

Bob was a man that I always looked up to....as a young boy I chose him as a mentor, I knew that I would strive to be the man he was! Though I did tell him on one occassion how I adored him as a young boy, I only regret not making it clear that he has inspired me to be who I am today. I will miss him dearly but I will never forget him as long as Im here! Bob was everything a man should be but what was most important to him was his family and he made that very clear. As for his wife Jane and his four children, Mary, Bobby, Michael and Steven, I believe he will be looking down from heaven doing his best to protect all of you. Anyone that had the privledge to meet or know Bob will have a tough time getting by his death, though I do know if he could talk to us he would probably tell of in his own way "Life goes on we need to move on"
To Jane and the kids, Michelle, Lisa and I send our prayers and thoughts! We will be here if ever we can help in any way. We love you all!
