Obituary of Stephen R. Schrader

Stephen R. Schrader, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Monday, January 2, 2012 in New York City. He was 62. Son of Margaret McKee Schrader Gummerman of Carteret, New Jersey and the late Theodore Schrader, he was born November 9, 1949 in New York City. He married the former Sharon L. Roberts on June 6, 1992. Mrs. Schrader survives at home in Wappingers Falls. Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a bus operator for MABSTOA in the Bronx. He was an avid New York Yankees and Miami Dolphins fan. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his son, Kyle Stephen Schrader of Wappingers Falls; his siblings, Michael, Christine Cipriano, William, Paul and Lawrence; several nieces and nephews as well as his loving cat, Batoe Kitty. Visitation will be on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 7 at Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
