John McGarrigle was a very gifted and artistic Irish-American with a love of all things Irish. John enjoyed greatly his involvement in the Kevin Barry Irish Society. John always reached out to his Irish cousins, the McKeever's from Meelick in County Mayo, and to his brother-in--law.

Carol and family
I have fond memories of cousin Johnny as a child as he spent a lot of time with us. The most vivid memory I have is when he would pick us up in his forest green convertible and drive us to Aunt Margie's to watch Batman on their COLOR TV. He was a lot of fun to the 5 McCarthy children. He will be missed.
