Obituary of Christine Gaudino

Christine Gaudino, who resided at Greystone Programs Universal IRA, Wappingers Falls, together with her extended family of Sylvia, Lucy, Peter, James, George, Brunilda, Richard, Lisa and a devoted staff who provided her with hospice care so Chrissy could pass on in her own bed and in her own home, entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. She was 63. Christine was predeceased by other Universal family members in the past few years: John Doe, Donald Nason, Nicholas Luongo and Theresa 'TT' Carroll. She also leaves behind her loving friends and staff of Greystone Programs and Abilities First who affectionately referred to her as "Princess Chrissy", especially her close friend and advocate, Joanne Lucato. For fun, Christine loved to do crafts and needlepoint. She enjoyed anything girly, especially looking her best and singing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY, 12590. A funeral service will follow visitation at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, Route 9D in Wappingers Falls.
