People say that in your lifetime, you are blessed with knowing ten good friends. We had the privilege of knowing Marilyn and her husband Dave. We will always remember the fun times we had with them. We extend our sympathy to their sons, their wives and families.

Dear Cousins Patricia, David, Andrew and families,
Please accept my sincere condolences. The last time I saw Cousin Marilyn was at my dad's (Uncle Herman)wake. Her coming meant a lot to my family. I regret not attending her services as I didn't receive details until last night. I would have liked to have shared some fond memories of Cousin Marilyn and Dave from the "only" Lappe family reuniion held at my home in the early 1990's. Regretfully, there werent more of them. God Bless You!
Sincerely,
Cousin Robert

We're so sorry to hear the passing of our dear neighbor Marilyn. We have been neighbors for over 30 years. She will be truly missed. Whenever she would be outside she always say hi or have an conversation with you. When you live next to someone for this long you look out for one another. When we started missing Marilyn doing her normal routine we became worried. We later learned the reason and was devastated. May God comfort the family, friends and neighbors at this difficult time. No more pain or worries Marilyn. Rest now our beautiful neighbor.

My deepest condolences to Andy and his family for the loss of his mother. Andy is a great person to work with and an overall terrific guy. I could only imagine how hard this is knowing how much a son loves his mother.
May Mrs. Casella rest in peace.

I met Marilyn 6+ years ago when I started working for the hospital. She helped train me. She watched over me to make sure I did well. She advised me of the way things were done and taught me as much as she could to make me successful. She was always there for anyone that she could help. She was the most generous person that I have ever met. Both with her love and caring and also with the way she never forgot a special moment that needed a little celebration. She would plan a whole party for someone and never ask for any help in doing so. The most important thing to Marilyn was her family. Her sons, daughter in laws and precious grandchildren were her world. She always spoke of them. In her final days when I visited her she always referred to the picture next to her bed. A picture of her and her children and grandchildren on a vacation the year before. She glowed as she spoke of that vacation. She looked at that picture all the time. My heart hurt when I heard that Marilyn was no longer with us. I wanted one more visit, one more conversation, one more something but I have to remember that Marilyn is at peace. Heaven has a special angel now. Rest in peace Marilyn. Thank you for being the person you were and touching everyone's lives the way you did. We love you!

Mr. and Mrs. Casella were like second parents to me in elementary school, and I was so saddened to hear of her passing. Mrs. Casella was always kind, warm, and quick with a laugh. She loved Andy and Dave so much, and she always invited all of us into her family. Heaven has a new angel, and we're all better off for having known Mrs. Casella.
