I grew up in Paramus Reformed Church so I have known George for at least 70 years! Many fond memories of our childhood, boy Scout events, Alpha Chi Youth Group, etc. I am sure George's cheerful face and voice will be sadly missed by all those around him. My thoughts and prayers will be with you, Carol!

Carol,
We love you and are praying for you.
You and George have meant so much to us. You and George have sown Godly seeds in our lives as our friends and mentors.
Thank you for leading our daughter Raina to the Lord when she was 4 years old in the Junior Jesus Kids class you taught.
We know we will see George in Heaven someday when we get there.
The joy of the Lord always shined through you and George.
We love you.
Love,
Ray and Patti LeGrand

Sorry to learn of George's passing. I'm sure he will continue to work for the good of all from the other side of the veil.
We were friends all thru Ridgewood high, worked together at scout camp, and had a somewhat parallel life...scoutmaster, Rotarian, minister, lots of education, family, chidren and grandchildren, etc.
Love to the family. I'm sure he will be missed...Bill

May your memories of this wonderful man continue for many generations. He did so, so much for so many people, whether it was through rotary or scouting. I was pleased to learn last year that we worked at Caldors at the same time too!

To the Jennings family, We did not have the distinct pleasure of ever meeting or knowing George. But we certainly recall very vividly his bright smiling eyes that always seemed to catch ours in the Narthex on most Sundays as we came into church. Earth's loss is now Heaven's gain and we will pray that the Lord will comfort and strengthen all of you as you go forward on the remainder of your journies here. Jesus said "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3). May His precious peace be a mantle over you all! Be blessed!

Dear Carol and Family,
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, Believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:1-2
What a welcome George has received! He is in the arms of Jesus, in the mansion that was prepared for him. I can't even imagine the glory, peace and beauty of such a place.
George was such a willing servant to the children at Faith over the years. What a blessing. I will always remember him as a man with great posture, with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye whenever you spoke to him.
He will be missed.
You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow, yet rejoice in knowing that George is now in his permanent home with the LORD.
Blessings, Mike & Barb Helm

We are saddened by George's passing. He was a good friend and will be missed. Don has happy memories of time spent with George on, among other things, the audio/visual committe in High School, times at Boy Scout camp as camper and counselor, and sharing in each other's wedding. Our deepest sympathies go to Carol and the family.
