My sweetest memory of my beloved Aunt Pat is when our Flannigan Family of 10 descended upon her neat home in the summers to swim in the pool, explore the forest, and just play outside with our cousins. What I remember most is that she endured these billion of children with a sweet, sweet smile on her face, a crinkle in her pretty blue eyes, and tons of delicious food on the table. She was always, always so kind and gracious. Her answer was always, "yes, sure honey." And there was Uncle Francis, passing out bucks to us kids. We were on top of the world. Ohhhhh, my sweet, sweet Aunt. The glue of the Flannigan family.

Bob & Judy...
What a grand lady! Met her for the first time at Jen & Jared's rehearsal dinner and wedding. Don't believe there was a person more excited to be there! I remember her because of that never ending smile, and that intense interest in me and our family. She also like to talk about her boy, Bob, and I wish I had more time to hear ALL the stories. She thought Jen was SOOOO pretty, and that she would fit right in with the rest of the pretty Schafer girls. She brightened my day up in Wappinger Falls and I am sure she touched so many more lives with her wit and charm. I am very grateful for meeting her, for just a short time.

As Bobby and Judy's friend growing up as teenagers, my favorite memory of Mrs. Flannigan was dealing with about 40 teenagers every New Year's Eve . Always so kind and gentle with all of us, never once do I remember her getting upset at any one of us. And we were a hand ful to say the least. Mrs. Flannigan was a lovely women, mom, husband , grandmother, friend. She had the whole package , she was a good egg. She will be deeply missed by myself, but her family will miss her by far more than I can fathom. Rest in peace, you are now where god needs you, you are in our lords place called heaven.
