Obituary of Joseph A. DiChiaro

Joseph A. DiChiaro entered into rest Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was 88. Son of the late Frank and Antoinette DiChiaro, he was born on February 9, 1925 in New York City. Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II; he was honorably discharged in 1946. He married the former Catherine Vitale on November 9, 1947 at St. Francis Church in the Bronx. Mrs. DiChiaro survives at home in Lagrangeville. Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated World Wide Refrigeration in the Bronx. He enjoyed hunting in his free time. In addition to his wife, Catherine, he is survived by his children, Frank DiChiaro, Joseph DiChiaro, Carol Stevenson, Michael DiChiaro and Cathy Hughes; his brothers, Daniel and Dominick DiChiaro; fourteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
