Obituary of Ruth Klebaur

Ruth Klebaur, a six year local resident and previously of Baldwin, Long Island, entered into rest Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Elant at Fishkill. She was 90. Daughter of the late Alfred and Elsa Bachmann Kusch, she was born July 15, 1922 in Halle, Germany. She married Edwin J. Klebaur in1943. Mr. Klebaur preceded her in death on June 29, 2006. While living on Long Island, Ruth was a parishioner of St. Christopher's Church in Baldwin and was involved with the Bayshore Historical Society. She is survived by her sons, Edwin A. Klebaur of Poughkeepsie and Steven Klebaur of Buffalo; her sister, Irngard Sherman; her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Gertrude West. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Christopher's Church, 11 Gale Avenue, Baldwin, NY 11510.
