Obituary of Anna Orefice

Anna Orefice, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Elant at Fishkill. She was 96. Daughter of the late Neil and Louise Dellocono, she was born April 8, 1917 in Brooklyn. She married James Orefice on November 9, 1941 in Brooklyn. Mr. Orefice preceded her in death on November 2, 1999. Anna was a member of Connections Church in Wappingers Falls. She is survived by her son, James Orefice of Wappingers Falls, her sisters, Mildred Stramento and Margaret Galasso; and her two grandsons, Christopher Orefice and his wife, Dara and Kenneth Orefice and his wife, Nicole. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, CarolAnn Orefice and several siblings. Family will receive their friends on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
