Obituary of Irene Terpak

Irene Terpak, 88, of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL. Mrs. Terpak was born April 16, 1925 in Forest City, PA to Maxim and Irene Demianovich. Prior to her retirement she worked for Western Publishing in their payroll department for over 25 years. She was a parishioner of Saint Gregory the Theologian Eastern Orthodox Church in Wappingers Falls. Survivors include her son, Michael (Rhonda) Terpak of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Nancy (Paul) Jubinsky of Hyde Park, NY; brother, Max Demianovich of Orlando, FL; grandsons, Bryan Terpak of Orlando, FL and Daniel Terpak of Boynton Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Anthony Terpak; three brothers and one sister. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Saint Gregory the Theologian Eastern Orthodox Church at 1500 Route 376, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. Entombment will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home in Wappingers Falls, NY.
