Obituary of Leona S. Crawford

Leona S. Crawford, 85, of Wappingers Falls passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 peacefully at her home. She is survived by her daughter, Denise of Wappingers Falls; her three sons, Charles and his wife, Catherine of Highland, David of Hughsonville and Wayne and his wife, Brenda of Hartford, New York; her brother, Gordon Ingles of Hudson; her five grandchildren, Christine Lovett and her husband, Clay of Jackson, Tennessee, Lara Tozzi of New Paltz, Luke Crawford and his wife, Jennifer of Beacon, Timothy Crawford of Whitehall, New York and Helen Crawford of Hampton, New York; her eight great-grandchildren; as well as an extended family of nieces, nephews, their children and numerous close friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles and sister, Betty Butler. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service with the family at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Hughsonville Presbyterian Church, Route 9D, Hughsonville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leona's memory to the charity of your choice.
