Obituary of Mary H. Campbell
Mary H. Campbell, a resident of the Town of Fishkill, entered into rest Monday, October 21, 2013 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh.
Daughter of the late Alexander and Emma Chizmar Rozner, she was born July 16 in Chelsea. She married the love of her life, Bryan J. Campbell on October 19, 1946 in Beacon. Mr. Campbell preceded her in death on July 7, 2000.
Mary was a parishioner at St. Mary Mother of the Church in Fishkill. She volunteered her time with the Beacon City School District, as a Brownie Leader, working the polls at elections, and with the veterans at Castle Point. A proud cancer survivor, she was also very artistic. She enjoyed keeping current with news and politics; always praying for everything in the world to be right. She was a very loving person and cared about everyone she met. She described the greatest job as being a mother and lived her life as an example. She truly loved her family and every moment she spent with them.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Guris of Newburgh and Janet Pendleton and her husband, Anthony of Beacon; her brother, William Rozner of Wappingers Falls; her sister, Helen Rozner of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Deborah Guris, John Guris, Colin Caffrey, Amy Pendleton, Emily Gold, Anthony Pendleton, Jr., Joseph Pendleton and Molly Pendleton; her great-grandchildren, Leila, Lucie, Alice, Declan, Jax, Easton, Paisley, and Penni Layne; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Martha Caffrey and her brother, John Rozner.
