I just found out our dear friend from the Pond, Nancy, "Midnightmoose", as we so fondly knew her, passed away. What an amazing journey we had the honor of sharing with her in her final days before she moved on to a place of light, refreshment, and peace. Your words, humor, strength, and honesty will forever stay with us, Nancy. We were all so blessed to know you, and even though many of us had not had the chance to meet you in person, I pray we have the privilege to one day meet again in joyous celebration as we all move on beyond this stage of life on earth.
Rest in peace, our dear friend, Nancy.
Diane, aka emmyjayne from the Pond.

Robin, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was the bravest woman I have ever known. She was so proud of you and your accomplishments. I am so sorry that we were never able to meet each other. We had ideas to meet in Kingston sometime, but never were able to get it together. I have family in the area and we joked about the "Kingston circle" and how many times around it would take to get the exit. My sincerest condolences are with you and your family.

Nancy was known to me as Midnightmoose. Even with her own health problem she encouraged others.
for Robin and Family
It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.

I knew Nancy as "midnightmoose" in the Pond Friends forum. She was an inspiration and a great source of strength for many of us. Speaking for myself, I learned from her examples of dignity and grace in the face of adversity. No matter how bad things got for her, she always found the time to comfort a friend, offer advice or simply commiserate with someone who needed it. She gave of herself so freely and generously... her memory will live on with so many people she touched through her online friendships, the lessons she quietly taught us all will be her legacy to a community of many who never had the opportunity to meet her in person. Please know that we treasure her still and is forever in our hearts! I love you and miss you already dear, sweet moose...
