Al and Louise, were very special neighbors.
I am saddened to hear of his passing. After moving in with his daughter Ann, he still kept in touch with me which meant a lot.

We will miss him greatly! We en joyed our frequent visits to Wappingers Falls to see my parents and see Al and his family - always having breakfast Sunday morning at a variety of diners or firehouses!
He is one of the few remaining that represented the GREATEST GENERATION.

I was so sorry to read of Al's passing. My husband Roger (now deceased) always spoke so highly of him. Evidently, some time in Roger's youth, Al was a mentor to him and Roger never forgot it. Please accept my sympathy. You lost a good man.
