Obituary of Clara Victoria Navedo

Clara V. Navedo of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 82. Clara moved to Wappingers Falls in December of 2007 from the Bronx. Clara was mom to all who came to her home. She was the youngest of seven brothers and she was the boss. She worked as a nurse's aide, a job she enjoyed very much. Clara had the best memory. She could tell you the dates you had medical procedures done, arguments you had with your spouse, and other crazy random things. These always kept us in awe of her brain. Clara loved her TV shows, as well as purchasing the latest gadgets from QVC, HSN or various catalogs. She was on Facebook and had an iPad before her daughters. Clara loved celebrating our family birthdays, especially with those decadent Valencia cakes from the Bronx. We will miss mom/grandma so much. Forever you will be in our hearts. Clara was predeceased by her husband, Faustino Navedo Cruz. Clara is survived by her children: Emily and her husband, Stedroy Burke of Newburgh, NY, Victoria and her husband, Julian Turock of Peekskill, NY, Mary Stovall of Wappingers Falls, NY, Juanita and her husband, Joseph Worthington of Beacon, NY; her grandchildren: Lauren Burke of Poughkeepsie, NY, Daniel Burke and his wife, Tanya Burke of Ossining, NY, Olivia Turock of Peekskill, NY, Matthew Stovall and Meghan Stovall, both of Wappingers Falls, NY; and her great granddaughter, Avianna Rose Livingston of Poughkeepsie, NY.
