Obituary of Eleanor Jordan
Eleanor Jordan, 81, passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2018, with her family by her side in Mohegan Lake, NY.
A memorial service will be held at the Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home in Wappingers Falls NY on Saturday, September 8, 2018.
Eleanor was born April 7, 1937 in Peekskill NY to Charles and Emily Soricelli.
Eleanor, and her late sister Carmella, were avid Roller Skaters in their youth. She met her husband John in the 1950’s in Peekskill and they were very close to celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. She and Carmella worked together for many years in the kitchen and as a monitor for the Lakeland School District.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by her husband John; her daughter Debby Boryk and her husband Gary; her son John; Seven Grandchildren; her brother John Soricelli, of Forth Worth TX; and her many Nieces and Nephews who she cared for greatly.
