Obituary of Rufina Herve Harvey

Rufina Harvey, 67, of Balata, St. Lucia, died on January 30, 2019, at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York. She was born on February 25, 1951 to Clifford and Iris Harvey of Balata, St. Lucia. 

Rufina is survived by her two children, a son, Chris Harvey, a daughter, Berthy Harvey-Boston; grandson, Kade Boston; her son in law, Christopher Boston; brothers, Boniface Harvey, Francis Harvey, Rufus Harvey; sister, Cecilia Harvey; her partner, Steven Louis; her sisters-in-law, Luna Harvey and Nora Harvey; many nieces and nephews including: nieces, Titania  Boyce in St Lucia, Lynith Harvey, Tracey Harvey, Carmen Harvey, and Filina Harvey all residing in New York, and Cindy Harvey in Texas; nephews, Joseph Harvey, Dwayne and Audwayne Auguste all residing in St Lucia, Kenvey Harvey, O’Neil Harvey, Onell Harvey, and Neil Harvey all residing in New York,  Ian Harvey in Texas and many more in England, Canada and St. Lucia. Her extended family includes: Bonnie Delporie, Chuck Delporie, Bridget Delporie, Dolce Delporie, and Riley Delporie in New York; her best friends Beverly and Gertrude in New York, Ermay in St Lucia and many other family and friends including the Harvey family in Balata, and the Raymond family in Fond Assau.

Funeral services will be at 10 am on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, 342 South Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York. Entombment will follow at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Mausoleum.
