Obituary of Patrick J. O'Neill

Patrick J. O'Neill of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Manor at Woodside. He was 82. Son of the late Patrick and Delia Gannon O'Neill, he was born on May 16, 1933 in Yonkers. He was married to the love of his life, Rosaline Hyland O'Neill; Mrs. O'Neill survives at home. Mr. O'Neill worked as a collector for Operating Engineers #137 in Briarcliff Manor for several years. He was also a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. In addition to his wife, Rosaline, he survived by his children, Keith O'Neill of Poughkeepsie, Fiona O'Neill of Brooklyn and Alana O'Neill of Poughkeepsie; brother, James O'Neill; and grandson, Reilly O'Neill. In addition to his parents, Patrick was predeceased by his brother, Edward O'Neill. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 17 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
