I attended Marist in the 1970s and remember Gerry from his work with the theatre. After I graduated and was studying for a degree in student affairs, Gerry sent me a card saying that he was following my career and was impressed with my accomplishments. I was incredibly touched. I had not had Gerry as a professor at Marist so his care in sending me a handwritten note was gratifying. It reminded me of what I valued about my Marist education. I'm sad to hear of Gerry's passing. He left a wonderful legacy at Marist and beyond.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to the Cox Family. I worked for him in the mid 80s while attending Marist. He was a kind and generous soul who will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.

Tom and I will always remember our visits together in California. Jerry and Jimmy the Cox brothers were such larger than life personalities! Loved listening to all the stores with embellishments! We are always thankful to have been welcomed into the Cox family circle. Love to all the Cox Family.
