Obituary of Luis A. Rodriguez, Jr.

Luis A. Rodriguez, Jr., a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Friday, January 1, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 50. Son of Elizabeth Ortiz Rodriguez and the late Luis Antonio Rodriguez, he was born July 5, 1970 in Manhattan. He married the love of his life, Angelique Febus Reali. She survives at home in Wappingers Falls. Also known as “Woody” he worked as an IT Engineer at The Gap in Fishkill. In addition to his wife, Angelique and mother, Elizabeth; he is survived by his children, Nicolette Reali, Domenick Reali, Zachary Rodriguez and Christian Rodriguez; his sister, Carmen DeMauro; his brothers, Joseph and Brian Rodriguez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A funeral mass will be offered following at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 8 at St. Mary’s Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. In compliance with NYS guidelines, wearing masks and social distancing are required and capacity is limited. Attendees should be prepared for a possible waiting period.
