Obituary of Francis M. Sherow, III

Francis M. Sherow, III a resident of Poughkeepsie entered into rest, Sunday, January 17, 2021 at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. He was 58. Son of Pearl Hearst Morse and the late Francis M. Sherow, Jr. he w was born February 5, 1962 in Poughkeepsie. Frank worked as a carpenter and loved what he did. Survivors include his mother, Pearl Morse and her husband Robert; his sisters, Connie Lekatsas, Debbie Niessen, Teri Enson, and Dawn Kain and her husband, Rich; his brother, Donald Sherow; Luis Barban, Jr. who was like a son to him; his nieces and nephews, Susan Chase, Nicole Enson, Megan Enson, Justine Kain, Corey Kain, Michael Enson, III, Devin Sherow, Donald Sherow, Amanda Symes and Eddie Chase. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In compliance with NYS guidelines, wearing masks and social distancing are required and capacity is limited. Attendees should be prepared for a possible waiting period.
