Obituary of Constance Anne LoCascio

Constance Anne LoCascio, a resident of Newburgh, entered into rest Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Mount Sinai West in Manhattan. She was 62. Daughter of the late Anthony “Nino” and Marie Norberto LoCascio, she was born March 26, 1958 in New Rochelle. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the United States Postal Service for over 35 years in Mount Vernon, Wappingers Falls, Newburgh and retiring from Kingston. Constance was very involved in the Postal Union, various Post Office groups on Facebook and made many friends through the Post Office. She was also involved in Dystonia Medical Research. Constance was a very kind, compassionate and caring person who always went out of her way to help others. She is survived by her son, Nicholas Quigley and his fiancée Shannon; her sister, Elizabeth Schell; her brother, Paul LoCascio; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John LoCascio and her sister, Lisa LoCascio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 22 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the family plot in Beechwoods Cemetery, 179 Beechwood Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
