Dear Wendy and Family,
Today is 09/08/2023 and I just found out about Scott. I would have been 18 years old in 1978 when you and he married. The Simeons lived on Ashland Ave. in Palatine, Illinois and were a huge part of my childhood. I mostly played with Matthew, Melinda, and Monica. The Simeons were the "Brady Bunch" and I considered Bud my Father! My name is Rosamond (Truty) Scoma and they called me Rosebud. If it were not for them, I would not have known how a family were to function. Oh, I had great parents and a typical childhood, but my Father had illnesses and worked nights. I only really spent time with him on the Weekends or Holidays. Mirroring much of what I witnessed within the Simeon family, having spent much time in their home and yard, I grew to know how to be a good Mother. Death is never easy. I have Twin Girls in Heaven. They passed at birth in 1983. My Husband died in 2020. My condolences to you and may you continue to find comfort and Grace from God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Mrs. Simeon and Family,
So sorry to read about the passing of your husband/father. You have my sincere condolences and he will be in my prayers as well as the your family and extended family. After reading about Mr. Simeon, I could see how he embraced life so much. He will be missed. I'm sure heaven will be much louder now with Mr. S on his motorcycle.

Dear Wendy, Evan, Shaina, Miki, Kelsey & Sierra.... there are truly no words! The best are the memories he leaves within all of us! I remember his joy on his motorcycle, I was honored to take a ride on it “back in the day”, I remember him mountain biking and loving that....but the best and most recent memories are those with his grandchildren.... definitely his “delight”! And sitting outside with Wendy admiring the blinking lights, reading, enjoying peaceful moments with her... the memories will continue within all of you!
Our heart goes out to you, With love, and fond memories....Gail & Tom

Dearest Wendy, Shaina, Miki, Evan, Kelsey & Sierra, our heart felt sympathy goes out to all of you. Scott was such an amazing guy, Eric’s best friend, and a great friend to me. Over the last two days, we have been remembering all the fun times we have had, and those incredible memories are helping us through. I can just picture Scott laughing at the rocket almost hitting the neighbors house, I mean really, what’s the worst that can happen? He will be missed so much, we will think of him when we look at all the stars in the sky, his presence will never diminish. Rest In Peace Scott, your quiet presence will leave a huge whole in our hearts. Sending peace and love to each and every one of you.
Eric & Patty

I will forever be grateful that you shared your father with me. He was the father I never had. Growing up I often referred to him as “Scotty Dog”. I always enjoyed sharing a birthday a day apart. My fondest memories will be learning and riding motorcycles together. He planted that seed in me when I was young and he would take me out on the back of his bike. Later he would teach me how to ride my own. I loved going out on country roads and finding a beautiful spot where we would take a rest and talk about life. Although he loved to tease me he always let me know that he loved me and was proud of all my adventures and things I was working on. I wish I could have one last ride together. I am grateful for the imprint you have left on my life. May your memory be a blessing.
