Obituary of Bramwell R. Linden
Bramwell R Linden ,95 formally of Rye Brook, N.Y. and recently of Poughquag, N.Y has passed away on Saturday June 26, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Bramwell was born in New York City on August 28, 1925 . As a young child, with his brother Kenneth, they were sent to live in Sweden. They returned to the United States as a teens and Bramwell was drafted in WWII as an infantryman in the Battle of the Bulge. SSG Linden was bestowed the bronze star with valor and was awarded the French Legion of Honors medal.
Bramwell later returned to continue his education at Columbia University to become a mechanical engineer and eventually work for Ozone Industries. He raised his children in Rye Brook and was a member of the Park Lodge #516 4th Manhattan District as a RW District Deputy Grandmaster . He retired with his wife Dorothy to Florida and enjoyed their travel and numerous cruises around the world.
Bramwell was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Dottie) of 63 years, his brother Kenneth Linden, and his sons Ronald and Richard Linden
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lisa and her husband, Brian Herbst; his beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Keith and Kevin Herbst and Brittany Linden; and 2 great-grandchildren, Hailey and Levi Herbst
The family has chosen to do a private service.
